McLaren Automotive has now opened up several showrooms throughout the United States, including one in Beverly Hills-which, let's face it, will probably be an important one for sales of the MP4-12C supercar. Because with a projected price somewhere near $250,000, it would take a film star's salary to afford one. But good luck to Messrs. Clooney, Cage, or whomever buys this machine, because it sure does seem impressive, what with its twin-turbo V8 making 600 hp, dual-clutch transmission, lightweight body, and on-board computer. Other McLaren showrooms may be found in Chicago, Dallas, Greenwich (for the New York tri-state area), San Francisco, Miami, Tampa Bay, and Toronto.
