100th Anniversary of the Indy 500 to Be Honored On 2011 U.S. Stamp

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway unveiled a special stamp today that commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500. The stamp, which will go on sale in May, features an art deco illustration by John Mattos of the Marmon Wasp, the car Ray Harroun drove to victory in the first 500, in 1911.
